The purpose of this class is to learn the mutual influence relationship between cultural contents and visual culture, and to foster the perspective and planning ability for visualization work. The content of the class is to explore and analyze the examples of how the cultural contents of all times and places are visualized. Students will be able to integrate various content sources with visual materials.

애니메이션에 대한 이해와 미술의 이해를 통하여 현대 문화콘텐츠의 흐름을 인식하고 실재 비평적 시각을 갖추고자 한다. 나아가서 콘텐츠의 다양성과 제작의 경향을 익힘으로써 한국의 애니메이션 콘텐츠의 일반적 편견을 벗어나 전공지식의 밑바탕을 육성하는 기초 교양에 목표한다. 비전공자의 인식 한계를 넘은 일반적 교양으로 함양하고자 한다.

Through the understanding of animation and fine art, students study the critics points of view and modern cutural content trends. Futher more students can learn the diversity of content and the tendency of pipeline of productin system. The goal of this lecture is to cultivate basic knowledge that fosters the foundation of major knowledge beyond the general prejudice of Korean animation content. It seeks to cultivate as a general education beyond the limit of awareness.

영화, 애니메이션, 뮤지컬 등 영상을 구성하는 기본 문법과 이론을 습득함으로써 영상 리터러시를 향상시키는 것을 목표로 한다. 영상의 기본 문법(쇼트와 몽타주 등)을 만들었던 영화사 초기의 작품들을 중심으로 영화사에서 중요하다고 평가된 작품들을 감상하고 분석한다. 학생은 영상의 기초 언어를 사용하여 영상 제작, 영상 비평 등 영상에 관한 다양한 활동을 할 수 있다.

It aims to improve image literacy by acquiring basic grammar and theory that composes images such as movies, animations, and musicals. Based on the early works of film history that created the basic grammar (shots and montages, etc.) of the film, we appreciate and analyze the works that have been evaluated as important in film history. Students can use the basic language of film to perform various activities related to moving images, such as film production and film criticism.

고대부터 현대까지 예술의 역사를 영화를 통해 살펴본다. 예술의 개념이 어떻게 바뀌어왔고, 예술장르는 어떻게 분화되어왔는지, 예술 사조는 어떻게 변해왔는지를 개괄적으로 알아본다. 이론적으로 접근하기보다 영화를 통해 예술가들의 삶과 작품 세계를 중심으로 살펴봄으로써 예술을 쉽고 친숙하게 이해하도록 한다.

By the understanding about the media literacy and the real working for the program, the students can learn about the making logic of TV program and plan the program based on their own unique ideas.

표현주의 영화, 전위 영화 등 실험적 영상을 추구한 예술 사조를 학습하는 것을 목표로 한다. 추상주의 영화, 아방가르드 영화, 전위 영화 등 다양하게 불리는 실험 영화의 미학을 학습하고, 마야 데렌, 스탠 브래키지, 백남준 등 영화에서 비디오 아티스트에 이르기까지 실험적 성격이 강한 영상을 감상한다. 필요한 경우 휴대전화를 이용한 실험 영상 제작 등 실기를 병행한다. 학생은 실험 영상의 미학을 학습함으로써 영상의 전혀 다른 흐름을 이해한다.

It aims to learn art trends that made experimental images such as expressionist films and avant-garde films. We will first learn the aesthetics of experimental films and watch some experimental films such as Maya Deren, Stan Brakhage, and Nam June Paik to video artists. If necessary, practical skills such as production of experimental images using a mobile phone are carried out. Students understand and learn the aesthetics of experimental images, and accept and understand completely different flow of image production.

애니메이션의 제작 방법론의 전반을 연구한다. 동영상과 이론적 고찰을 통하여 자신만의 관점을 구성한다. 그리고 스톱모션 애니메이션의 특정 기술을 통하여 결과물을 도출해 내고자 한다. 애니메이션 분량은 단편으로 한정하여 제출한다.

This course studies the methodology of animation production. Build students own perspective through animation videos and theoretical considerations. And students derive the result through specific technology of stop motion animation. Final animation length is limited to short films about 2~3 minutes

Offers the characteristic of the various TV drama, the basic logic of TV drama series planning by the analysis of the famous and good rating foreign TV Drama's Pilot episode. By planning their own TV drama series, the students can get the ability for making the plan of the TV drama series.

다양한 다큐멘터리 영화를 감상하고 다큐멘터리 영화가 가지는 특성과 효과를 이해하는 것을 목표로 한다. 다큐멘터리 영화는 내러티브 영화에 대응하는 말로서 사실을 바탕으로 사회 문제들을 드러내는 작품을 말한다. 그리어슨과 플래허티의 작품으로부터 일본이의 오가와 신스케, 네덜란드의 요리스 이벤스에 이르는 작품을 감상하고 필요한 경우 다큐멘터리를 제작해 본다. 학생은 다큐멘터리 영화의 기본 방향과 이론을 학습함으로써 다큐멘터리에 대한 이해력을 증진시킨다.

It aims to appreciate various documentary films and to understand the characteristics and effects of documentary films. Documentary films deal with social problems based on facts. Watch works from Grierson and Flaherty to Shinsuke Ogawa of Japan and Joris Ivens of the Netherlands, and make documentaries if necessary. Students improve their understanding of documentaries by learning the basic directions and theories of documentary films

The content of the class is to study various myths from various cultures and to analyze creative cases using myths. Students will be able to discover creative materials from mythology and improve their material value by grafting with today's problems.

게임산업의 트렌드를 확인하고 타산업과의 연계발전을 모색하는 것에 중점을 두어 연구해 본다. 영화 혹은 애니메이션과 게임의 접목, 게임 캐릭터의 상품화, 게임음악의 음반화, 시나리오의 소설화 및 극화, 환자 치료용 게임, 각종 업무 분야의 시뮬레이션게임을 통해 교육 및 시행착오가 감소함으로써 나타나는 원가절감의 효과 등에 관하여 알아본다.

This course focuses on identifying trends in the game industry and seeking cooperative development with other industries. In this class, you will research about the convergence of movies (or animation) and games, commercialization of game characters, recording of games' OST, fiction and dramatization of game scenarios, games for patient treatment and the effect of cost reduction by reducing trial and error because of simulation games in various business fields.
